Cash Out

All PokerStars customers can use the Cash Out facility which locks in a profit before a bet reaches expiry. The thinking behind the feature is to take advantage of a good market position before the end of a match or the completion of an accumulator. For example, if a team you back is winning 1-0 in a football match, towards the end of the game the current odds will be much lower than when the match started. By cashing out such a bet there will be some winnings if the other side were to equalise and the match is drawn.

During a betting event, all the open bets display and an icon indicates if Cash Out is available. When a market is suspended after a key event, bets cannot be cashed out.
